The Miami Herald caught up with The Miz. During their conversation, the Miz talked about some of the trials and tribulations he went through first breaking into WWE. Here is what he said about his early WWE up comings.

“I went to Ohio Valley Wrestling [in Louisville] to learn more,” Miz said following his Tough Enough run. You go to different schools to learn different things.

“Finally I got brought up to be the Ryan Seacrest of WWE. They wanted me to host Friday Night Smackdown and host of the Diva Search. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted, but I knew if they gave me the microphone, I could get a character over and show people who I am.

“After six months of doing that, they said, ‘You’re going to start wrestling.’ I said, ‘Wow.’ I went undefeated for almost six months.

“After I started losing, I started losing a lot. Literally everyone thought I was going to be future endeavored [released]. Nobody liked me in the locker room. I got kicked out of the locker room. No one likes a person who comes from a reality background and comes to WWE and thinks they can do it.

John Cena’s Marriage Proposal

Reportedly, John Cena was in a Boston court on Friday asking that the 3 day waiting period for getting married after receiving a license in the state of Massachusetts be waived. It is believed that the WWE Superstar is going to be getting married this weekend.

The WWE Superstar was in court with his fiancée — Elizabeth — as well as another female, who appeared to be his publicist. They filled out paperwork and were there for about a half hour, which saw the judge waive the waiting period. Cena waited in line like everyone else, but signed a few autographs in the meantime. He later thanked the staff for helping him.

Well, it happened. John Cena is World Heavyweight Champion. This is his first (and hopefully last) World Title. John has been a WWE Champion before, but this win marks a new chapter in his championship career.
The World Heavyweight Championship has more prestige than the WWE Championship. Compare over 40 years of history to over 100 years of history, and the World Title will come out on top every time.
I will admit that I respect Cena's passion and love for this sport and business, but I do not respect him as a wrestler. To be a World Champion you have to operate like a World Champion and Mr.Cena does not.
Not only does he lack the in-ring abilities of a World Champion, he lacks the mannerisms of one. His attack on Chris Jericho last week was less than World Champion-like. To disrespect a legend like Chris Jericho, a five-time World Champion, the only man to hold the Intercontinental Championship on eight different occasions, is a big no-no.
Cena got what he deserved when Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, and Manu attacked him last night on RAW, and seeing Orton drive Cena's skull into the concrete was an early Christmas present for me!
Armageddon will close out the year of 2008 and it will also close out John Cena's reign as World Heavyweight Champion.
